Happy Mother's Day!

We have a walker.....Grace took her first steps on May 8th! Our little lady waited to show her skills when both Tory and I could be home to see it!!! We officially have a "toddler"- oh boy!


We had a great mother's day-  We began the day at the beach with Tory's mom and family

Although, I have not pictures to share. I want to also say Happy Mother's Day to my mom- "Mimi". We enjoyed a dinner with my parents to celebrate as well.

BUBBLES......

Grace got bubbles for her birthday- Gymboree bubbles are the BEST!!

 

I promise she was enjoying herself.....unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture her giggles.

It is April 28th and GRACE IS 1!!!

If you are wondering why it has taken me 4 whole months to post something new- welcome to my busy world!! However, here are some updates about the highlights of our last 4 months.

Naturally, the biggest milestone was Grace turning 1!! We had a wonderful day!!! The biggest surprise was that my sister, Aunt Lisa, came all the way from Vancouver, WA and surprised us for Grace's birthday weekend!!!! This was absolutely AWESOME- I was so excited that she could be with us to help us celebrate!! We were joined by many friends and family- my friend, Delta, also came to help me prepare for the weekend. True to form, I over extended myself and I was so greatful for the extra help!!


The weekend began with Grace's 1 year pictures by Abbey Saxton! She was fabulous!! Some of our favorites....

What a day!

It was a great day!! We were joined by so many of our friends and family which helped to make the day very special for all three of us!


Grace is now...
30 inches in length- 81 %
21 lbs. 13 oz in weight- 78 %
18 1/2 inches head circ- 94 %

We are now awaiting her first steps...any day now!

We love you sweet girl!

Happy Easter!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter!  We had a great day experiencing Grace's first Easter. It makes me think back to last Easter when I looked like this.......

HOLY BABY!!!

This year we celebrated Easter by starting the day with Grace opening her basket from the Easter Bunny at 6:45 AM!

The Easter Bunny brought Grace a new bathing suit, beach toys, the strawberry puffs she loves, Easter books, and a new teether!

We enjoyed 8:30 mass with Mimi and Papa

Off to Mimi and Papa's house we go as the Easter Bunny also stopped there for Grace....

Last stop....lunch at Nana and Grandpa's! Easter Bunny stopped at Nana and Grandpa's for Grace as well- Easter Bunny was busy this year!!

Grace loves dogs!  She trailed after Zoe the majority of the afternoon and she seems to be making her attempt at saying "Ruff, Ruff" as she points at Zoe.

We had a great day with the family and watching Grace experience her first Easter. She loved what the Easter Bunny brought and it was a joyfilled day.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail....

We went to see the Easter Bunny on Saturday! We were not sure what she would think of this large furry creature but as you can see she did just fine!  She even got a pinwheel from the Easter Bunny.

Let's Go RAYS!!

Grace has now had her first experience of Major League Baseball. Tory, Grace, and I went to a Spring Training game a week ago and we had a great time!! She was the cutest thing there and LOVED being outside. Here are some of the pictures captured that day- Knowing Daddy there will be plenty more baseball games in Grace's future!
