16 Months and Growing

Grace learns and grows so much each day. As she turns 16 months she is starting to become very imaginative!  She has started to pretend play with me which is very fun. Also, she follows directions very well- it is amazing to see how much she understands! So excited to continue to grow with Grace!

Fun in the Sun

We went and played at a neighborhood play area on a Saturday morning. Grace loved playing in the water and running in the grass!

15 months..already

Where have 15 months gone???

 

 

I must say, trying to take pictures each month with the "tummy ticker" on is quite challenging these days! Here are the chain of events as I attempted to capture a good one....

Grace loves....

 

To eat peaches, bananas, broccoli, cheese, spaghetti, Pirates Booty, goldfish, alphabet cookies, yogurt covered raisins, scrambled eggs, biscuits, pancakes, dada and mama's cereal, and anything mama or dad have on their plates!

Grace loves to help me around the house....especially "folding" laundry.....

 

 

If you are wondering...yes, those are panties around her neck. She managed to put on every single pair that was in the clean laundry that day...

Family visit to Florida

 

My sister, her family and my brother came to visit in July. It was a great birthday for me and Grace had a lot of fun having the extra playmates.

14 Months

Grace is 14 months!

VACATION HERE WE COME....

We had a, VERY much needed, vacation to Vancouver, WA to see my sister and her family in May to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. It was great to have a break from the daily schedule and time with family. It was extra special as it was my sister and brother-in-law's 15th wedding anniversary as well. Can't wait to go back....Grace really enjoyed her time with her cousins, Christopher and Michael

Happy Mother's Day!

We have a walker.....Grace took her first steps on May 8th! Our little lady waited to show her skills when both Tory and I could be home to see it!!! We officially have a "toddler"- oh boy!


We had a great mother's day-  We began the day at the beach with Tory's mom and family

Although, I have not pictures to share. I want to also say Happy Mother's Day to my mom- "Mimi". We enjoyed a dinner with my parents to celebrate as well.

BUBBLES......

Grace got bubbles for her birthday- Gymboree bubbles are the BEST!!

 

I promise she was enjoying herself.....unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture her giggles.

PERFECT GIFT!

It is April 28th and GRACE IS 1!!!

If you are wondering why it has taken me 4 whole months to post something new- welcome to my busy world!! However, here are some updates about the highlights of our last 4 months.

Naturally, the biggest milestone was Grace turning 1!! We had a wonderful day!!! The biggest surprise was that my sister, Aunt Lisa, came all the way from Vancouver, WA and surprised us for Grace's birthday weekend!!!! This was absolutely AWESOME- I was so excited that she could be with us to help us celebrate!! We were joined by many friends and family- my friend, Delta, also came to help me prepare for the weekend. True to form, I over extended myself and I was so greatful for the extra help!!


The weekend began with Grace's 1 year pictures by Abbey Saxton! She was fabulous!! Some of our favorites....

What a day!

It was a great day!! We were joined by so many of our friends and family which helped to make the day very special for all three of us!


Grace is now...
30 inches in length- 81 %
21 lbs. 13 oz in weight- 78 %
18 1/2 inches head circ- 94 %

We are now awaiting her first steps...any day now!
