Play Hard... Sleep Hard!!

Our little lady LOVES to play AND sleep!  Here are some pictures that capture that last week with Grace!

Now that Grace is getting better and better at rolling over she is beginning to really enjoy her "Tummy Time".

Grace is quite a strong girl...she loves to reek havoc on her play mat!  Let's just say, her play mat probably won't make it through many more days of Grace :)

I LOVE MY BUMBO!

Grace got a Bumbo for her 4 month birthday!  Check out some pictures of her putting it to use. She looks pretty excited!

What a BIG girl...

Grace is 4 Months Old....Where did the time go!

Happy 4 Months Grace! Grace had her four month appointment with Dr. Pruitt on Monday. We were so excited to see how much she had grown. Some Grace stats at four months old:

• Weighing in at 15 pounds 2 ounces, putting  her at 72nd percentile!
• She is now 25 1/2 inches!  She has grown a whopping 2 1/2 inches in 2 months, putting her at 91st percentile!! A tall girl just like momma!
• She has a good size noggin-her brain is growing!! Her head is now 16 1/2 inches, 88th percentile! Our oh so smart girl!

A little more about Grace at 4 Months:

• She rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time on September 1st!  The crowd went wild!!
• She loves her giraffe "Sophie" as you will see in the picture at the end of this post
• She is a snuggler- loves her snuggle time with mom and dad
• She loves, loves, loves to put ANYTHING in her mouth
• She thinks mom and dad are the funniest people in the world and she loves to give us good giggles
• She loves the crazy songs momma sings, particularly "I'm Sorry Playmate", "How Much is that Doggy in the Window", and the "ABC's"
• She now has a Bumbo that she sits in like a big girl and watches momma do choirs around the house
• In the morning, she wakes up cooing and giggling- this continues until someone comes to get her!  She is a very happy girl!
• She loves to go "up, up, up" with daddy- daddy loves to make her fly!
• She has begun to mimic mom and dad blowing raspberries

So many more fun and exciting adventures to come!

And this is Grace after her 4 month doctor's appointment......

Our poor girl, got her shots and was completely tuckered out! But, she has Sophie so all is good with the world :)

Grace, Our World Traveler!!

Grace had her first airplane ride when she was 8 weeks old!  We traveled to our friend Karin's wedding in Cleveland, Ohio. While we were there we had a great time seeing Jason and Amy, Karin and Chad, and many of our other friends whom we don't get to see very often!  Grace slept the entire flight both there and back!  She was a trooper- it was a wonderful trip! Here are some highlights from the trip....

Grace's second trip on an airplane......

Grace and I took a trip to New York City to attend my brother taking his final vows with the Fransiscan Friars of the Renewal. Grace was about 12 week for this trip. This trip was without Daddy and it was QUITE an adventure!  However, Grace was wonderful as usual...thank goodness!  Here are some of the highlights from this trip.....

And last but not least, Grace with her Uncle Chris!  She even got her first appearance on stage with him during the visit- a STAR is born!

It was another great trip but we were so happy to be back home with daddy! Whew...I think we are done traveling for a while....
